Full bodied white wine, with aromas of ripe stone fruit like white apricots, perfectly blended with subtle oak given by its aging in French oak barrels. Very creamy and silky texture due to the 10 months the wine spends in its own lees, that also gives this great wine hints of baking spices and pastry such as brioche and toasted bread.

Belondrade y Lurton, Rueda Superior White 2021	95 Wine Advocate The 2021 Belondrade y Lurton is showing superb, pure, crystalline, clean, pure and expressive, delicate, elegant and subtle. The oak feels perfectly integrated despite being a very young wine. It has notes of white flowers, orange peel, hints of peach and dry hay and is quite varietal, with a faint bitter twist on the finish that, to me, is a textbook descriptor of the Verdejos from yesteryear. Belondrade y Lurton, Rueda Superior White 2022	94 Wine Advocate The spicy 2022 Belondrade y Lurton was cropped from a warm and dry year when they had to harvest quite early. The nose shows no signs of excess ripeness; it feels quite fresh and harmonious. It’s elegant, surprisingly restrained, clean and with integrated oak, contained ripeness and 14% alcohol on the label.
