Ca' Del Baio Barbaresco DOCG "Autinbej"

The color is a deep garnet red with reflections of old pink. The nose is an intense, fruity aroma reminiscent of raspberries, jam, and violets that give an ethereal feeling accompanied by sweet spicy notes and hints of cocoa. In the mouth, Autinbej is warm, long, persistent and slightly tannic with an aftertaste of fruity notes.

Ca' Del Baio Barbaresco DOCG "Autinbej" 2021	94 James Suckling Notes of potpourri, cinnamon, sweet violets, complex layered fruit, crisp acidity and focused cherry pit minerality. Velvety, slightly dusty tannins with licorice in the finish. Essentially ready to drink, but will improve with aging. 91 Vinous The 2021 Barbaresco Autinbej is bright, vibrant and e!usive. A blend of mostly Marcarini with some fruit from Ferrere and Montersino, the Autinbej offers up scents of pipe tobacco, cedar, mint, dried flowers and licorice, all in a deceptively mid-weight style that is quite appealing.
