Ca' Del Baio Langhe Chardonnay "Luna d'Agosto" DOC

The grapes harvested early, in the first weeks of September, produce this fresh and fruity wine reminiscent of summer. It is born naturally equipped with a mineral vein that derives from the particular soils on which the vineyards are planted. The grapes are subjected to soft pressing and the vinification takes place entirely in steel, in temperature-controlled tanks. Malolactic fermentation is not developed to preserve the freshness and youth characteristics of the wine.

Straw yellow color with greenish reflections; delicately flowery and fruity aroma , with notes reminiscent of citrus fruits and exotic fruits; dry, fresh, long flavor, with a slightly mineral aftertaste. Served fresh, excellent as an aperitif. At the table it accompanies white meat and vegetable starters, grilled and baked fish, fresh cheeses. Serving temperature: 10-12°C. It is consumed young, already in the first months of the year following the harvest. If stored well, it remains pleasant and stimulating even 2 years after bottling.
