Churchill's Estates Grafite Douro White

Grafite white is a complex and delicate Douro wine, combining distinctive mineral notes with hints of graphite and fresh lemons on the nose. This wine is juicy and elegant on the palate, with a long and crisp finish. It is produced from grapes grown on our estates located in the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior sub-regions of the Douro Valley.

The grapes are picked into small boxes of approx. 20 kilos and brought to the winery where they undergo a careful selection process before being crushed. The grapes were chilled overnight to 5ºC and then crushed and allowed to cold-soak in tank for 12 hours at 10ºC. 100% of the must was then pressed and the juice was transferred to another tank where it was inoculated and allowed to ferment gently during two weeks at a maximum temperature of 15ºC. Serve chilled (10º-12ºC).
