Alphonse Mellot, Sancerre BLANC, "Le Paradis"
This is concentrated, pure and complex on the nose that reveals ripe, intense and concentrated stone fruit with vanilla and delicate flinty notes of milled stones. Very fine and elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, dense and concentrated Sancerre from old vines on clayey limestone soils. The acidity is remarkably fine and perfectly integrated, and the finish is long and tensioned, with stimulating salinity and phenolic grip.
