Domaine Chaume-Arnaud, Cotes du Rhone Rouge

The Côtes du Rhône rouge is a blend of 60% Grenache, 20% each of Syrah and Cinsault. Although it always punches way above its weight, the 2018 is a bomb of sheer deliciousness and drinkability. It comes from a selection of vines are planted on clayey/limestone soils at the bottom of the slopes. The notes of red berry, spices and liquorice on the nose persist on the palate, where the mouthfeel is smooth thanks to the silky tannins.
