Varietal: 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre

Domaine La Roubine, Gigondas 2022	93 James Suckling Oodles of kirsch, violets and peppercorns, with just an edge of verdant herb, attesting to the altitude of the site and the cooler, more challenging vintage. This is still rather tightly furled and distinctly medium-bodied of feel, revealing little but puppy fat. The tenacity in the finish and energy, however, suggest that plenty is to come.
