Domaine Ponsot, Chapelle Chambertin Grand Cru

Pretty dark crimson. Intense, somehow masculine on the nose. Some leather and masses of opulently rich fruit that is deep flavored rather than just sweet and pretty. Glossy somehow. Gorgeous texture with the fruit obliterating the ripe tannins. Not massive but beautifully balanced.
