Hand-picked at optimum maturity and gently pressed in whole clusters. The aromas are evocative with notes of rose petals and exotic fruit. Juicy, very ripe, and candied – very sweet without being cloying. There is a sense of clove that lingers. The finish is framed by touches of butterscotch and caramel. Slightly off-dry on the palate which is balanced with delicate spices. The finish is long and elegant.

Weinbach Gewurztraminer Cuvee Laurence 2020	95 James Suckling Wonderful nose of exotic fruit (more mangosteen than lychee) and tropical flowers, none of the specific notes dominating, rather the opposite. So succulent and elegant, the texture on the rather sleek palate really silky. The extravagance of this grape only showing a little at the flamboyant finish, where a salty touch lifts the ample body effortlessly. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
