Riesling is the king of Alsatian wine and the love of the Faller family. The grapes used in this bottling come from the highest plots of the famour grand cru Schlossberg. The resulting wine is elegant, fine, very dry, and sometimes steely.

Weinbach Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg 2021	94 Vinous The 2021 Riesling Schlossberg Grand Cru has a tender, shy nose that allows the pale lemon lift to escape. The palate is beautifully lemony, edged with fresh, young crushed young leaves of yarrow and imbued with a deep saltiness. The freshness is serene yet pervasive, colonizing the mind with its citrus and lemon peel insistence. This is taut, linear, yet so juicy on the surface, cheating the hard granite with its playfulness. But underneath, it’s profound, serious, hard and clean-cut. Wonderful. Weinbach Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg 2022	94 Vinous The 2022 Riesling Schlossberg Grand Cru blends its reductive, flinty smokiness with lemon zest on the nose. With more air, white and yellow peach start smiling through and get stronger and juicier on the palate. The pale peach juiciness appears in full purity on the palate, framed with a pleasantly astringent pithiness that makes the mouth water. More peach and fruit and fin freshness are just within reach.
