“Noticeably more of a primrose yellow colour at this stage (long before cleaning up). A bit more lees in the sample. Concentrated, backward, really a lot more wine here than the Chassagne, a full fruit with some yellow notes, ripe but balanced, and avoids the sweet and sour which afflicted so many 2016s. Fair density, medium length, a sound and solid 2021 Puligny. Drink from 2025-2030. Tasted: October 2022.” Jasper Morris (12/1/2022)

Sauzet, Puligny-Montrachet 2022	89-91 Jasper Morris “Fresh lemon and lime colour. The little lime note is there again. This is delicious on the palate, fills out a little more, retaining a chalky note. Balanced, precise and long. Drink from 2026-2030. Tasted: October 2023.” 16.5++/20 Jancis Robinson Tank sample. A little reduced on the nose. Crisp, precise and very long on the palate. Classic Sauzet style. Concentration, minerality and freshening acidity abound.
