GranBazan Albarino "Veigalobos"
A unique wine. Made with ancient techniques: Veigalobos is a project that was born in the 2018 vintage with the aim of exploring the potential of the Albariño grape to produce exceptional wines, escaping from the classic and purist in the production of wines from this variety, which has characterized Granbazán for the last 40 years. .
The Cobas de Lobos Farm is located in the parish of San Adrián, Cambados and consists of 2.85 hectares cultivated in Parra Gallega on sandy soil with a soft vegetation cover next to the banks of the Umia River, in these extreme conditions and under the influence of the ocean. Atlantic sprouts berries with slow ripening, powerful acidity and unmatched aromatic quality.
Tasting note: Intense ocher yellow, limpid and bright. The nose is complex, extremely floral, white flowers, geraniums and roses. The fruit is ripe, yellow apple, fresh figs, peach compote and apricot mousse with delicate nuances of fine herbs such as thyme and oregano. In the mouth it is dense, balsamic, with an explosive entry, tasty, good structure typical of the long maceration, saline characteristic of an Atlantic wine and long persistence.
