Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon (White Label) features fragrant notes of red and black plums, lavender and mossy tree bark, over a core of cassis and boysenberries. The medium to full-bodied palate is refreshing and vibrant, delivering an approachable texture and herbal lift on the finish.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a gorgeous introduction to the vintage at Larkmead. Pliant and supple, the Cabernet offers tons of near term appeal. Sweet Cherry, red plum, pomagranate, spice and blood orange infuse the 2019 with layers of nuance and complexity. Best of all the 2019 will drink well with minimal cellaring.

This is structured, complex, dense and lengthy, a celebration of dark berry fruit that is layered and velvety smooth on the palate. Tobacco, oak and dried herb accent it with ease, complementing and contrasting in myriad ways and landing on a sophisticated finish.

A beautiful wine from a great vintage, the 2021 Larkmead Cabernet Sauvignon was stored in mainly new French oak (64% new) before bottling. This vintage unlike 2020 has 8% Cabernet Franc blended in as the 2020 utilized nearly 20% Merlot. This edition is impeccably balanced, with toasty oak notes alongside creme de cassis, sweet pipe tobacco, damp soils, black currants and suggestions of fresh sage. A totally dazzling effort that is already nicely evolved, enjoy now and over the next fifteen years to come. Drink 2024-2039

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is terrific. Bold and explosive, the 2021 shows the more muscular side of the year. Black cherry, tobacco, incense and new leather all meld together in this dramatic, super-expressive Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon.
