N/Apts The Wine Advocate– 2014 vintage

FOR THE 2014 VINTAGE
First in the vat this year was the 2014 Chassagne-Montrachet le Concis du Champs, courtesy of 10-year-old vines that tend to produce small berries. It has a clean and precise bouquet with red apples and limestone scents percolating through the citrus fruit. The palate is vibrant with good energy, nice weight in the mouth (thanks to the clay soils) with a harmonious, saline finish. Good potential here — a very fine village Chassagne. (88-90)

92pts Vinous – Antonio Galloni– 2017 vintage

FOR THE 2017 VINTAGE – 92 POINTS
The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet La Concis de Champs, which Olivier Lamy tells me is the first to be picked, has a crisp, pure Granny Smith apple scented nose with a touch of spring meadow. The palate is very tensile, quite steely, beautifully focused and pure with great mineralité on the finish. This is the best wine that I have tasted from this vineyard.
