An agreeably fresh mix is comprised by red currant, black raspberry, violet, plum and earth scents. There is both fine volume and intensity to the extract-rich big-bodied flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality on the mildly austere and dry finish. As with a couple of wines in the range the balance is not perfect but the depth makes this interesting despite that.
