The grapes for this wine were harvested from the Western portion of Requena, from vineyards with Southeastern exposure which helps to maintain floral aromas. Grapes were destemmed and saw a few hours of skin contact prior to pressing. The wine was aged on lees for a minimum of 9 months without exposure to light or movement to incorporate great complexity, a round mouthfeel and fine bubbles. Residual Sugar: 9.1g/L.

90pts Vinous – Antonio Galloni – N/V

Brilliant pink. Intense red berry and tangerine scents show very good clarity and a suave floral note that builds in the glass. Silky, seamless and broad on the palate, offering juicy raspberry and blood orange flavors underscored by a smoky mineral nuance. Finishes sappy and quite long, featuring echoing red fruit character and a touch of candied rose. I really like the interplay of power and finesse here.”

89pts International Wine Report – N/V

“If you like the fresh strawberry flavors of the Grenache grape, you’ll love this sparkler. It shows beautiful (biutiful) Grenache aromas and flavors and a creamy, soft mousse. The wine has enough ripe fruit to make it a good pairing for the Thanksgiving meal. Aged on the lees for 9 months. 9.1 g/l RS.”

87pts Wine Enthusiast – N/V

“Smoky stonefruit aromas lead to a fresh and zesty feeling palate that hits firmly with plum, raspberry and citrus flavors. The finish on this rosé Cava is solid but gaseous, with red-fruit and citrus flavors to spare.”
