Paddy Borthwick Wairarapa Sauvignon Blanc

The 2018-2019 growing season has produced a wine with great concentration. A fragrant lift of spiced stone fruit, tropical fruits with a hint of dark herb notes. Packed with flavor, a core of ripe nectarine and lemon-lime acidity, finishing with passionfruit and black currant.

Lovely red cherry aromatics, showing purity of fruit, charm and finesse. The palate is juicy and fresh; very nicely made.

91pts James Suckling– 2019 vintage

FOR THE 2019 VINTAGE
There’s a fresh, lemon and lime thread here with a sliced-apple edge to the nose and palate. The texture is crisp and fresh. Drink now. Screw cap.

90pts The Wine Advocate– 2019 vintage

FOR THE 2019 VINTAGE
Gentle hints of snow peas accent nectarine and mandarin-orange scents on the nose of Paddy Borthwick’s 2019 Sauvignon Blanc. It’s nicely ripe and rounded in the mouth, medium-bodied and generous yet with a fine line of acidity running through it and defining the crisp, lime-like finish.
