Averaen was born out of our love for cool climate Pinot Noir. Oregon’s Willamette Valley offers an ideal climate, where strong winds blow from the nearby Pacific Ocean, and the mix of ancient volcanic soils and marine sediments from a prehistoric ocean floor lend intse minerality and complexity to the Pinot Noir grape.

Fact Sheet

90pts Wine Enthusiast – 2018 vintage

“Fruit sourced from six Willamette Valley AVAs and well over a dozen vineyards combines in this sweetly fruity wine. Pretty plum and marionberry flavors are enhanced with a light touch of herbs, putting a frame around the finish.”

90pts Vinous – 2018 Vintage

Glistening ruby-red. Ripe red and dark berries, cherry-cola and a hint of allspice on the perfumed nose. Pliant cherry and black raspberry flavors show good energy and pick up a hint of smokiness on the back half. Plush and seamless in texture, with lingering floral and spice notes on the long, subtly tannic finish.
