A little reserved initially, rich but less forthcoming than the Bâtard. Concentrated, textured, yellow plum fruits interspersed with lacy minerals. Quietly powerful, subtle but persistent rather than opulent, very much a “Puligny” Grand Cru. This is the domaine’s oldest vineyard, planted in 1940 and its smallest production.
