This blend offers a wine with a good density on the front of the palate followed by a very interesting lengthw which is a result of the shallow and mineral soil. To enjoy it to its full maturity, cellar 5 -10 years depending on the vintage.

N/Apts The Wine Advocate– 2015 vintage

FOR THE 2015 VINTAGE
The 2015 Moulin a Vent Vieilles Vignes comes from 65- to 105-year-old vines and is matured in 20% new oak, the remainder second and third fill. It includes 30% whole bunch. It has a very opulent, almost overpowering bouquet of crème de cassis, heady and decadent.

N/Apts BURGHOUND.com– 2016 vintage

FOR THE 2016 VINTAGE
40% Whole Cluster : Moderate reduction masks the underlying fruit but I doubt that it will last. Otherwise the succulent, dense and powerful flavors evidence a really lovely texture before concluding in a mildly rustic, serious and youthfully austere finish. This too is worth considering provided that you have the patience to allow it at least some time in bottle first. (90-92)
