Beautiful pale golden color. A fragrant and lively wine with rich aromatic intensity. Notes of grapefruit, boxwood, blackberry leaf, and citrus jump from the glass. On the palate this wine is round with flavors of dry fruits, almonds, and honey. A lovely crisp, dry white that should be consumed young. Pairs well with poultry, shellfish, grilled fish, and pastas with cream sauces.

90pts Wine Enthusiast– 2018 vintage

FOR THE 2018 VINTAGE
Joël Duffau has produced a beautifully ripe wine in his final year of transferring the vineyard to certified organic. This 80/20 Sauvignon Blanc/Sémillon blend is rich but cut with freshness. Acidity also plays a role in this well-balanced wine, the apple and pineapple flavors right up front. Drink now.

90pts The Washington Post– 2019 vintage

Pineapple and mango on the nose with a definite peach and tropical taste.  It has good juice and concentration in the mid palate and lime zest at the finish with creamy edges.  Long length also.  It’s not overly complex but great for everyday drinking.
