Harmoniously blended to create a deep ruby colored wine. The nose offers up aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and blackcurrant from the Merlot and licorice, green peppers and spice from the Cabernet Sauvignon. With its aromatic finesse and velvety tannins this wine is sure to be a favorite. Pairs well with strong cheeses, pastas with red sauces, beef, and chocolate.

FOR THE 2016 VINTAGE
BEST BUY – This ripe, smooth wine offers delicious black fruits. Wood aging shows in the spice and dark- chocolate flavors although it does not interfere with the wine’s fruitiness. Drink from 2021.

90pts Wine Enthusiast– 2018 vintage

Joël Duffau has produced a beautifully ripe wine in his final year of transferring the vineyard to certified organic. This 80/20 Sauvignon Blanc/Sémillon blend is rich but cut with freshness. Acidity also plays a role in this well-balanced wine, the apple and pineapple flavors right up front. Drink now.
