Domaine Laurent Tribut Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy

This is at the richer and perhaps more floral end of the Chablis spectrum. Crisp and acidic, but with rich honeysuckle on the nose and ripe apples and pear on the palate. The Chablis minerality comes through more into the finish. Definitely still on the young side – ideally give it a couple more years!

90-92pts Wine Advocate– 2018 vintage

Tribut’s 2018 Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy is very promising, bursting with notes of mandarin orange, green apple, freshly baked bread and oyster shell. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, ample and expansive, with a fleshy, nicely concentrated core, lively acids and a saline finish.

89-92pts Burghound– 2018 vintage

As is often the case with this wine there is a touch of exotic fruit in the form of white peach, apricot and melon nuances on the petrol-infused nose. The caressing and quite rounded medium-bodied flavors also possess a refreshing salinity on the solidly persistent and complex finale. I usually prefer the Côte de Léchet to the Beauroy but in 2018 it would appear that the latter has a small edge though we will of course see in time if it holds up.
