Intense ruby red and deep. Aromas of red and black fruits mingle with the scents of the garrigue. The palate is creamy, concentrated but remains fresh. Gluttony and fun await you in this beautiful wine. The finish is bright and delicate.

92pts The Wine Advocate– 2010 vintage

FOR THE 2010 VINTAGE
The Pas de l’Escalette 2010 Coteaux du Languedoc Cuvee Delphine represents its namesake’s first “independent” cuvee, consisting of Grenache, Cinsault, and Carignan (only around half of which was de-stemmed) for which an especially modest amount of pumping-over was performed, and not a single punch-down. Tasted from the wooden fermentor, this seduces the nose with perfume of elder flower and buddleia allied to fresh blackberry, cherry, and oregano. Berryish fruit comes onto the palate in a juicy, silken-textured torrent, underlain my rich marrow and suffused with iodine, cherry pit, salt, and crushed stone that mouthwateringly extend a vivacious, buoyant, and infectious finish. I would anticipate more than a half dozen years of delight here, although no one can speak of a track record.

N/Apts The Wine Advocate– 2014 vintage

FOR THE 2014 VINTAGE
Raspberries, violets, spring flowers and hints of cranberries all emerge from the 2014 Terrasses Du Larzac Le Pas De D., which is medium-bodied, racy, lively and exceedingly pure. It’s certainly not a powerhouse—and walks a thin line with regards to acidity—yet it’s impeccably balanced and pulls it off nicely. Acid heads will like these even more than I do. The blend is 50% Carignan, 30% Grenache and 20% Cinsault that spent 14 months in foudre. 250 cases
