Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis 1er Cru Cote de Lechet 18

Bright, pale yellow. Good thrust to the aromas of citrus and stone fruits, flowers and menthol. Fatter and denser than the Cote de Joan but with more energy as well. The apple and peach flavors show good depth and persistence.

90pts Vinous – Antonio Galloni– 2016 vintage

FOR THE 2016 VINTAGE
The 2016 Chablis Côte de Léchet 1er Cru is more expressive than the Butteaux at the moment with light tropical fruit (dried mango and pineapple) a touch of spice coming through with time. The palate is well balanced with a smooth entry, slightly viscous in texture with a vein of dried honey, but showing a little more tension on the finish compared to the Butteaux at the moment.
