This wine offers a cool scent of black cherry and licorice and a noble rusticity to its very ripe, plush flavors of black raspberry and spices. There is good energy from its saline minerality and a note of granite. Broad tannins won’t prevent early enjoyment.

N/Apts The Wine Advocate– 2016 vintage

FOR THE 2016 VINTAGE
The 2016 Bourgogne Les Deux Terres is a blend of two-thirds Gamay from Beaujolais and one-third Pinot Noir from Burgundy. It has a very ripe “bonbon” bouquet with crème de cassis and blueberry—the Gamay really shining here. The palate is sweet and candied on the entry, easygoing with fleshy blue fruit and a brisk, well-defined finish. Not bad at all!

N/Apts BURGHOUND.com– 2016 vintage

FOR THE 2016 VINTAGE
A restrained and ultra-fresh nose is comprised by notes of red cherry, raspberry and a hint of earth character. The sleek, delicious and slightly finer-textured flavors possess slightly better depth along with a subtle minerality that emerges on the ever-so-mildly austere finale. This is a quality Bourgogne!
